Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Offset ("the app"). By downloading or using Offset, you agree to them. "We" and "us" mean the provider named at the bottom of this page.

License

When you buy Offset, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it on the Macs you own or control. You may not resell, redistribute, rent, or sublicense the app or your license key, and you may not reverse-engineer it except where the law allows.

Trial

Offset is free to use for a 7-day trial. After the trial ends, a valid license is required to keep using its features. The trial is provided as-is, with no obligation to purchase.

Updates

We may release updates that add, change, or remove features. Offset can check for and install updates automatically. We aren't obligated to provide updates or support indefinitely.

Acceptable use

Use Offset lawfully. Don't use it to interfere with other software or systems in ways that violate the law or others' rights.

Disclaimer

Offset is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Offset controls other apps' windows through macOS Accessibility; we don't guarantee it works flawlessly with every app or macOS version.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Offset. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Termination

Your license ends if you materially breach these terms. You can stop using Offset at any time by deleting it.

Changes

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date shows when. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Provider

Offset is provided by Ihor Dzhemesiuk, Germany.
