Offset is a macOS window manager. This policy explains what data Offset and this website handle. In short: Offset does its work locally on your Mac, and the little we collect is anonymous. "We" and "us" mean the provider named at the bottom of this page.
To understand how Offset is used, we send anonymous usage events (for example: the app launched, a trial started, a license was activated) through TelemetryDeck. These events are aggregated and identified only by a per-install hash — they contain no personal information and can't be traced back to you. TelemetryDeck processes this data on our behalf.
If Offset crashes, a diagnostic report is sent through Sentry so we can fix the problem. A report may include the crash location in our code, your macOS version, and device model. We don't intentionally collect personal information in crash reports.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — Stripe handles them. We receive confirmation of a purchase and the email you used, which we use to deliver your license and provide support.
getoffset.app is a static site. It doesn't set advertising cookies. Our host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability.
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the processors named above (TelemetryDeck, Sentry, Stripe) as needed to run Offset, and where required by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete data we hold about you. Because Offset's analytics are anonymous, we usually can't identify your individual data — but for purchase records, contact us and we'll help.
Offset is provided by Ihor Dzhemesiuk, Germany.
